The Cheshire branch of Farm Crisis Network started in 2001.

Our volunteers will talk to farmers over the phone or visit them on the farm to help them through the difficult times that so many farmers are experiencing at present.

We have very good connections with organisations who can provide practical help including Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution, ARC Addington Fund, Citizens Advice Bureau, Debt Advisors and Farm Business Advisors.

All our volunteer farm visitors have farming experience or knowledge and are well aware of the difficulties facing the farming community.

Our Cheshire County Co-ordinator is Keith Ineson. He can be contacted by:

PHONE: – Telephone: Church Minshull (01270) 522576
Mobile: 07967 559594

EMAIL:

you don’t even need to give your address if you don’t want.

POST:
“Worsley House”, Minshull Vernon, Cheshire, CW10 0LT.

Keith also has a personal website which gives details of the work he is doing in Cheshire.

Keith co-ordinates a group of very caring and capable people who all work hard to help the farming community in Cheshire. Here is what two of them have to say:

“We are a husband and wife team of FCN volunteers, formerly dairy farming but now semi-retired.
We became involved with FCN through Keith Ineson’s association with Cheshire County Show and are happy to listen to or help anyone with problems to continue with the excellent work done by Keith and the FCN team. “

“I am a fifty five year old, full time farmer’s wife on a livestock farm rearing beef, lamb and pork. During the time I have worked off the farm I have always had jobs where I have constantly worked with people from all walks of life. I am a fully trained Samaritan. I am a sympathetic listener and am a practical, empathetic and responsive person. I have skills in dealing with farm paperwork and bureaucracy.”

So if you need help, or you’d like to help, please get in touch, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
