Chocolate and Shopping Fundraiser
The prospect of a chocolate tasting session and the chance for some shopping proved irresistible for people who were drawn to an evening organised by Kate Woodward at Risley. A firm of local chocolate makers not only explained how chocolate is made but then offered samples of different types with instructions on the correct way to taste chocolate!
Local caterers served a delicious buffet – complete with chocolate cup cakes – and the guests had an opportunity to browse and buy from the stalls.
With the benefit of a raffle, a sum of almost £400 was raised by the evening which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
