Grants Available for Gwynedd Farming Families
Grants are available for farming families through Gwynedd Economic Partnership’s “Llwyddo yng Ngwynedd” Innovate project.
Llwyddo yng Ngwynedd:
There are a series of four projects being implemented under the Rural Development Plan which could help you establish or develop a venture/business:
You must live in Gwynedd and be a member of a farming family.
Its called the Innovate Project.
The project is in two parts:
Market Assessment Grants: If you are thinking of a new business on the farm, community projects (community projects must involve farming families and have agricultural involvement); diversifying or an environmental project then there is a Market Assessment grant available for market research into your idea.
Technical Development and Business Planning: There are 50-75% grants available for developing your idea and business planning and this can be followed on from the market assessment grants. If you have already done your market assessment and are ready to develop the idea then this assistance is vital.
