FCN help for farmers affected by flooding
FCN volunteers are working hard to provide help and support to farmers affected by the recent flooding.
Various parts of the UK have been affected and there are further weather warnings. FCN is aware that there are many farmers currently affected by flooding, water damage and other problems caused by the recent weather. There may be others who will be affected in the coming weeks by further bad weather or due to loss of crops or having to bring livestock indoors.

FCN’s Helpline is available from 7am-11pm every day on 0845 367 9990, and a visit from a local FCN volunteer will be offered wherever possible or appropriate.
FCN is working very closely with the other Farming Help Partnership charities, Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) and ARC-Addington Fund. RABI are able to offer domestic financial and welfare assistance in particular hardship situations. ARC-Addington Fund are able to offer small grants to help farm businesses, for example with the cost of extra feed for cattle brought indoors. FCN volunteers are helping those affected to make applications for these grants.
