Farming Help

Farming Help
Farming Help brings together three national charities (including FCN) which work together to benefit the farming community. Each charity provides different but complementary forms of help and support.

ARC-Addington Fund
The ARC-Addington Fund runs a Strategic Rural Housing Scheme, providing housing to people leaving a non-viable rural business.

Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution
RABI provides welfare advice, care and financial provision for eligible beneficiaries from the farming community, particularly the retired and disabled.

Agricultural Christian Fellowship
The Agricultural Christian Fellowship exists to help its members to make a Christian response to the many blessings, challenges and problems they face in agriculture and related activities.

Arthur Rank Centre
The Arthur Rank Centre is the national resource and training centre for rural churches, helping them to serve the rural community.

Citizens Advice provide free, confidential and independent advice.

Gloucestershire Farming Friends
Gloucestershire Farming Friends gives practical advice and emotional support to those working in agriculture or living within the rural community. The service is free and confidential. You can contact Gloucestershire Farming Friends by telephone on 0845 300 6886.

Kent Farm Line
Kent Farm Line provide a free, confidential helpline service offering emotional and practical support to people who live and work in Rural Kent. Their service is not restricted to the agricultural community.

Lincolnshire Rural Support Network (LRSN)
LRSN provides pastoral and practical support to farming and rural people during periods of anxiety, stress and problems relating to their families and businesses.

Rural Stress Helpline
Rural Stress Helpline offers a confidential, listening service to anyone in a rural area feeling troubled, anxious, worried, stressed or needing information.

Ruralminds
Ruralminds is an initiative of Mind, working to promote mental health in rural communities.

Samaritans
Samaritans provide emotional and listening support, available 24 hours a day, every day.

Staffordshire Rural Support Network
Free and confidential advice, friendship, business and emotional support for the Staffordshire rural community.

Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide
Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide exists to meet the needs and break the isolation of those bereaved by the suicide of a close relative or friend.

NFU (National Farmers Union)
The NFU represents farmers and growers in England and Wales.

TFA (Tenant Farmers Association)
The TFA represents the agricultural tenanted sector.

CLA (Country Land & Business Association)
The CLA represents those responsible for land, business and property in rural England and Wales.

Farmers Union of Wales
The Farmers Union of Wales is an independent Union representing farmers in Wales.

NFU Cymru
NFU Cymru is the NFU in Wales.

NFU Scotland
NFU Scotland represents farmers, crofters and growers in Scotland.

NIAPA (Northern Ireland Agricultural Producers Association)
NIAPA is an organisation for the farming community of Northern Ireland. NIAPA exists to articulate the feelings and concerns of farm families but to also offer hands on help to those who need it.

Ulster Farmers Union
Ulster Farmers Union represents farmers in Northern Ireland.
